Since I got involved in 1995 with the conference calling industry I have observed and participated in the very rapid changes. These rapid changes have encompassed and integrated web conferencing, webinars and video conferencing into the basic meat and potatoes audio conferencing services. I anticipate further widespread integration into a unified communications strategy that encompasses the iPad, iphones, and other kinds of smart phones. These permit real-time live meetings held instantly anywhere at any time using any kind of of device.
The reason for this growth is the need to conserve resources. Those resources that that wouldʼve gone into traveling can now go into a conference call or other low cost virtual venues. What could have cost thousands in travel can now be done for just a few dollars.
I have had a longtime interest in education. This first began to manifest when I worked as a park ranger in one of the nations largest national parks. In that position I gave tours around the park. We discussed the geology, ecology and history of the park. After that I entered into the realm of traditional science teaching at the grade, high school and university level. Later on I began to undertake a very sophisticated leap into an approach that integrated and unified the widest possible range of knowledge.
